Gdańsk University of Technology, founded in 1904, is the oldest and the largest scientific and technological academic institution in northern Poland. It covers 9 faculties, where about 27,000 students are studying. The University employs about 2,600 people, including about 1,200 academic teachers. The University offers over 60 undergraduate and graduate programs, including 12 programs taught fully in English. Gdańsk University of Technology is the organizer of many national and international conferences, symposia and seminars. From October 2015 it is a university affiliated to the European organization of the technical colleges CESAER (Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research). Gdańsk University of Technology is a university included in the ranking of 800 best universities of the world - Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
